By descent through his brother Don Jose Maria de Ulloa y Ortega-Montañes, Marques de Castro-Serna, to the last owners

According to the label on the reverse, it was confiscated by the Junta de Incautación during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), inventory number 474, and later returned to the owners.
